Mental Health

Dumbledore’s Army believes in the importance of mental health, but not everyone can get access to affordable mental health care. Our goal this year is to help others get access to this care.

Organizations

Below are some mental health organizations. Consider reading about them and the resources they provide, and how you can help through these organizations.

Active Minds

Through education, research, advocacy, and a focus on young adults ages 14–25, Active Minds is opening up the conversation about mental health and creating lasting change in the way mental health is talked about, cared for, and valued in the United States.

Rise Above the Disorder

Too many people go without mental health care because of the cost. So we became the largest community funded mental health effort in the world. With help from heroes like you, we've been able to cover the cost of mental health care for tens of thousands of people.

Project Hope

Women Carry An Undue Mental Health Burden. They Shouldn’t Have To. Like so many other global health issues, the burdens of mental health fall hardest on women. Building a more equitable world means acknowledging — and addressing — that gap.
